Area Packaging, an essential part of the Business Unit
Strip, focuses on the production and sale of high-quality
feedstock for a wide variety of applications. In state-of-the-art
converting facilities, Hydro combine the advantages of aluminium
with other materials using different lacquering and laminating
techniques. We manufacture plain and converted strip in
thicknesses ranging from 0.060 to 0.500 mm for the following
applications:
Semi-rigid Containers
Food Cans
Closures
Tagger Lids
As a supplier of system solutions, Hydro exploits the accumulated
know-how of Hydro Alumunium to work closely with their
customers right from the research and development stage.
