BOY's specialty is the manufacture of automatic
injection molding machines in the lower clamping force ranges.

The type designations
for the Boy injection molding
machines comprise a number and a letter. The number
designates the clamping force in mega pond (metric tons) while
the letter indicates which control concept is used.
We concentrate our efforts on manufacturing four basic models,
offering clamping forces of up
to 900 kN. Building on a common mechanical design,
all the models are available in a simpler, more economical
version and in a version fully equipped with the most modern
controls. Manufacturing larger quantities of each type and
using identical elements throughout cuts costs significantly.
The same effect is achieved by utilizing identical control
circuits for machines of various sizes.

CT 32-bit Technology Programmable Microprocessor
control for the A-series product line. "Touch the Future" - intuitive operator
guidance with touch screen technology that is simpler than
conventional keyboard operation.
Procan 16-bit Control
for the M-Series. LCD flat panel display, input via a touch
sensitive keyboard, cursor system dipronic control for all
D and T2 models. Operating elements are arranged on the surface
of the control cabinet, micro-electric circuits and hardware
use CMOS technology.
